This Jersey gem! The steak and eggs are a must-try, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Equally delightful were the shrimp firecracker and shrimp tempura crispy rice bites, which added a wonderful crunch to our meal. The ambiance is enhanced by stunning views of the city across the water, making it a picturesque dining experience. Don't miss the opportunity to capture beautiful photos in the dock area--it's an Instagram-worthy spot! Highly recommend for anyone seeking great food and a lovely atmosphere!

We went here to celebrate my mother's birthday, and it was an amazing experience ! The place itself is gorgeous, upscale, with excellent waterfront views of Manhattan skyline . We were seated right away and our server was very doting , he would often check up on us to make sure the food was to our liking . The food itself was amazing and so were the cocktails , it is on the pricier end but you really get what you pay for here ! A wonderful place to celebrate birthdays or a date night ! We will be back !

I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The food was solid, and the waterfront view, with the NYC skyline right across the water, added a magical touch. Here's a breakdown of everything we tried: * Raw Oysters: Exceptionally fresh and impressively large. * Pan-Seared Scallop: Flavorful, but slightly dry and could have used more buttery richness. * Char-Grilled Wakame Octopus: Beautifully charred, though the accompanying sauce didn't quite hit the mark for me. * Truffle Mac and Cheese: Absolutely delicious--creamy, cheesy, and indulgent. * Bangkok Roasted L.I. Duck: Sweet and tender, with tasty noodles on the side, though the watermelon salad didn't pair as well for my taste. * Crème Brûlée: A perfectly sweet ending to the meal. The stunning views and excellent service make this a place worth revisiting. Highly recommend it, especially for a date night or special occasion!

Fidel and his team made tonight's dinner unforgettable!! Haven is located in a corner area of Edgewater with breathtaking views of NYC. When you arrive, they have $10 valet- super convenient since it's in an area with barely any parking. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great vibe, they played some of my favorite songs but in the instrumental version and it was lovely. I originally requested a seat with a view, since we were joined by out of towners from Toronto. They did a decent job at accommodating my request, especially since the restaurant was busy. For appetizers we tried the oyster sampler and it was fresh and delicious. We also got the octopus, which was cooked perfectly (a pet peeve of mine) and came with a nice mixed salad. I ordered the lobster pasta, which could've used some more seasoning, but still good nonetheless. My date got the ribeye, which he raved about. He also added the loaded mashed as a side and enjoyed it. Our out of town guest went with the branzino and side of lobster Mac and cheese, which she took home for lunch the next day. For dessert we tried the crème brûlée and paired it with espressos for half the table. A very fresh dessert and not too sweet of a bite. I tried the espresso martini, which wasn't my favorite but I still finished it lol A bottle of white wine, four cocktails (including the espresso), two appetizers, four meals, and two sides ran us a little over $500 without tip. If you're looking for exceptional service, beautiful vibe/views, and decent food with a little cash to spend- get dressed up nicely and check out Haven :)

We have come here several times even during the scamdemic. Ate outside However. The place is attractive inside. All throughout the place it is truly a nice looking place. I have come for dinner and happy hour. Very adult no young ins flexing. Truly is a nice night out. We have tried many dishes the fish etc. Salmon and Chicken were good. Happy hour the sliders wings and love the cod tacos all homeruns. The service is always nice and competent

This restaurant was on my 'go-to' list for a while, and it was worth the wait. We made reservations for a Sunday dinner. Although it was a little cold/breezy outside, I really like the option of outdoor seating directly next to HEATED LAMPS. Their outdoor patio is spacious and tranquil right next to the Hudson river. That is likely the only way you'd convince me to eat outdoors intentionally. I noticed that's a trend at some restaurants in the area, near the water (Son Cubano has this option as well, for example). However, we still opted to dine inside with a gorgeous view (to our right) of the Hudson & NYC across the water. Quick tip - parking near the restaurant is scarce so... good luck! Small fun fact about me - I purposely look for two specific items on any menu, especially if it's an upscale-ish restaurant. Octopus and/or Duck. Majority of the time, I browse the menu before going to any food establishment. So, needless to say, I had high hopes and expectations for the octopus AND duck here. I had the charred octopus (tentacles) as an appetizer and roasted duck for my entree. Both were divine! The portion versus the price for the octopus left a lot to be desired. But, it was delicious!! Duck is my favorite poultry and they did an amazing job at Haven. My palate was pleased with every bite. My friend ordered the arancini balls as an appetizer and the grilled branzino as an entree. I sampled both - the arancini was underwhelming, but that was to be expected because I have never enjoyed that anywhere I've gone. The branzino, o.m.g. - chef's kiss! I would absolutely order that for myself on the next visit. Everything from food to ambiance/atmosphere was beautiful and delightful. The service was good, too. Our server checked on us enough to know he was around, but not overbearing!

Went here for my mother's birthday on a Sunday night. Here are my thoughts: Atmosphere: trendy, posh Decor: sleek, modern Food: I had the Braised Colorado Short Rib with mashed potatoes and collards -- this had to be the best short rib I've ever had. Geez Louise!!!!! Do yourself a favor and go get it! My mother had the NY Strip Steak with fried potatoes and mushrooms. My sister had the Pan Seared Scallops and Truffle Mac and Cheese. All delicious Drinks: My mom had the Lychee Lychee -- yum! Me and my sister had a drink that was so tasty but I can't remember the name! Service: Our server was super knowledgeable of the menu. He helped us choose our meals and drinks and we loved everything we had. He was also really funny! Good for: date night, girls night, birthday dinners It's a waterfront restaurant with amazing view of the city. Such a vibe!
